Tripoli Mentor Program
We require that youth fliers who wish to access the high power pads prove an understanding of the safety and flight procedures in use at these areas.
To that end, we require that all youths wishing to be present at the high power pads pass the TMP exam, which covers basic operation and safety requirements. Study guides and more information are available at the TMP website.
See any board member at a meeting or launch for further information or to take the test. (Note that we do NOT require youths to be members of Tripoli — the exam is an excellent standardized resource for ensuring competency on the range, and it is useful with or without TRA membership.)
