February Launch Dates

The winter flying season continues with our next launch, in February! We’re scheduled to fly under the Tripoli Research rules on Saturday, the 25th, and certified on the 26th. We’ve got 22,000 feet of airspace and miles of flat, power line-free recovery area. Come join us!

January 2012′s launch activity saw some beautiful flights over the course of two launch sessions, including Purdue USLI’s first test launch of their new vehicle, Gus Piepenburg’s Parallax on an M1730 Skidmark, and several successful certifications. Click through for images!

Launch Report: December 2011

December 2011 saw two Ns, three Ms, and a bunch of Js, Ks, Ls, too. Calm winds and clear skies made for a memorable weekend of flying. Click through for photos!

January Launch Dates

The new year’s flying season will begin on the 28th and 29th of January at Ash Grove. Since the new TRA rules still exclude NAR adult members, we’ll have a commercial NAR+TRA day on Saturday, the 28th, and a research (TRA+youth) day on Sunday, the 29th. As usual, we’ll have the pads ready to go at around 10:00 AM, both days… see you there!
